(jaobserver)POPULAR Jamaican deejays Mavado and Vybz Kartel, have been thrown behind bars.
Kartel, real name Adijah Palmer and Mavado, real name David Brooks, reported to the Police at the Constant Spring Police Station earlier today after they were last night named as persons of interest.Both deejays will be formally interviewed by detectives tomorrow. Their attorneys Valerie Nieta-Robinson and Christopher Tavares-Finson will also attend.
Police say both men wield considerable influence in the communities of 'big Yard and Cassava Piece which runs off Mannings Hill Road. The cops say they are to be questioned in connection with several serious crimes that have been committed in the community in recent times.
